Panache has been operating a number of salons in Berkeley over the last 25 years. We have taken great pride in all of our creations. The new Panache Day Spa is hands down our proudest accomplishment yet. We offer a wide variety of treatments including, European facials, waxing, natural nail care, hair cuts, styling, color and highlights. Our treatments utilize only the finest lines made of only the finest ingredients, all of which delivered by a team of highly trained and passionate specialists.

We took great care and consideration in picking our location as we wanted to stay true to our standards. We wanted to create something quiet and elegant to provide optimal ambiance and luxury service. We knew North Berkeley would appreciate the finer details and found our oasis waiting for us in the center of the “Gourmet Ghetto”, a few doors down from Chez Panisse, the perfect spot to relax and then take in a bit of shopping followed by a tapa or a pizza from our neighbors.

Consistent with our environmental priorities, we only use the best products known industry-wide for our clientele: Kerastase, a home care that truly maintains your hair with that salon feel between visits; Eminence, organic and effective skin care line from Hungary that restores, transforms and accentuates your natural beauty; Goldwell hair color with a beautiful array of rich colors and built in UV protection for lasting color. For our nail services we use Zoya, a line of nail enamels without harmful ingredients such as toluene, formaldehyde or DBP.

Upon entering the salon, smooth jazz permeates the air and fresh exotic floral arrangements accent the furnishings. The space is an eclectic combination of Asian inspired sophistication and elegance, professionally expertly designed and orchestrated by world renowned architect Charles Debbas. The décor smartly combines sumptuous silk and plush Italian leather in soothing hues of greens and earth tones.
